LET THE FESTIVITIES BEGIN!
Having worked closely and extensively with Ian Main while he was coordinator of the 2011 Leafy Sea Dragon Festival (now Festival Fleurieu), it was a natural progression for me to work with him and his fabulous team on his brainchild, the inaugural Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival, in 2012. Since then I have continued to work on a pro-bono basis for this eclectic and successful Festival, creating everything from the initial logo, posters, flyers and on-site signage to the annual program (now collaborating with Jacquie Sprott of Red Ripple Design, who also volunteers for this cause). And I have been able to immerse myself and enjoy the Festival (almost) every year. This year’s Festival will be upon us very soon – why not come on down for some finger-picking fun?

I believe that good design is a fine balance between simplicity and creativity, and it is this balance that you will find in my work. I also see the creative process as a shared and collaborative journey, which calls for transparent communication and quick understanding between all involved – and, more importantly, clear and unshifting focus on end-user experience.
