WORD OF MOUTH
About 12 months ago client and good friend Prue Liebig introduced me to fellow physiotherapist Jen McKenzie, who was in need of a logo for a new “arm” of her existing business. Referrals/recommendations are always valued, as the new connection is usually with a like-minded person who you can collaborate with successfully. Instead of creating more words, I’ll quote Prue’s here: “Jen, this is Alison, designer extraordinaire! She has been a close friend for over 20 years, and has actually created two of my websites, amongst other collateral along the way. She is insanely patient (she has to be with me) and does beautiful work. She also loves a project with heart. And yours definitely do, therefore they need a designer with one.” The design process for Jen’s logo took some time, due to illness, accident, and just life in general. But the result nailed it! The hands not only represent the physical side of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, but also the incredible support offered by Jen and her cohort. I wish her well with this specialisation, and look forward to working with her further.

​I believe that good design is a fine balance between simplicity and creativity, and it is this balance that you will find in my work. I also see the creative process as a shared and collaborative journey, which calls for transparent communication and quick understanding between all involved – and, more importantly, clear and unshifting focus on end-user experience.

I am a good communicator with a wealth of industry experience, and a thorough understanding of a wide range of clients and end-users.
