CREATIVE COLLECTIVE
I first met Lorraine back in 2008, when I began work on her first self-published book, Barbara Robertson: An Australian artist’s life. Over the years I have worked with her on many projects, including Festival Fleurieu, Books & Words Group and another three books, George Tetlow and Mark and Jill Pearse: Lives in art, Thinking on paper and Glimpses into the family heritage of Kevin and Sylvia Penny – as well as designing and maintaining the website she shares with her artist husband, Peter Fitzgerald. This recently published anthology of 20 interviews with local artists, published by Lorraine in the Yankalilla Regional News from 2021 to 2023, serves to present and preserve these pieces as a collection, celebrating and showcasing the rich fabric of the district. It has been very well received by the local and broader community, as well as by the artists featured within.

PRUE LIEBIG: ENERGIZER BUNNY!
I have known Prue for almost two decades now, and have worked with her through a few different business iterations. As well as oodles of talent and passion for what she does, she has the stamina of the Energizer Bunny. There is absolutely no stopping her! She’s fabulous to work with, and great to bounce ideas off, so the design process is always very much a collaboration. I am thrilled to be working with her again on her latest venture, The Bodyworker Physiotherapy. Thus far I have created a new brand/logo, and designed and built her a website. Next on our list is a suite of stationery items. After that, who knows? I wish her every success in this new venture, with the knowledge she’ll be looking after her clients well. I do hope she will try to take a break from time to time to also look after herself!!!

I believe that good design is a fine balance between simplicity and creativity, and it is this balance that you will find in my work. I also see the creative process as shared and collaborative journey, which calls for transparent communication and quick understanding between all involved – and, more importantly, clear and unshifting focus on end-user experience.
I am a good communicator with a wealth of industry experience, and a thorough understanding of a wide range of clients and end-users.
